Myra was born with club feet. She is five years old and the youngest among six siblings. Her father sells empty cans of rugby. Her mother stays at home to attend to their six children. Myra is now having her regular check-up at Philippine Orthopedic Center. A kind hearted Specialist at POC is looking for a donor of her posterior ankle splint. She goes for her regular Physical Therapy treatment here at Camillus MedHaven.
Jonas is a 3 year old boy and has visual impairment. He was born with cross eyed. He undergone series of check-ups and was advised to wear corrective device-eye glasses. He still needs to continue using his eye glasses to correct his visual impairment.
Emery Rose Espuellas is a 21 year old girl with speech and hearing impairment. She is studying at Manila Christian Computer Institute for the Deaf Foundation, Inc. She is taking up a Diploma course in Business Technology. She recieves educational assistance from the Camillus MedHaven Community-Based Rehabilitation Program.
To be able to finish his vocational course, Gilberto F. Olino (25 years old) decided to work in the morning and go to school in the evening. He is taking up Information Communication Technology at the International Electronics and Technical Institute, Inc., Marikina Branch. He will be graduating on March 2008. the tuition fee and transportation allowance of Gilbert are paid by the CMCBR. Gilbert is a talented and hardworking person despite his physical disability (no left arm-inborn). He is knowledgeable in computer and has a talent in drawing. He loves to play basketball. He is also an advocate of persons with disabilities and active member of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Rover Scout.
Gilbert is the eldest among five siblings. His father is a tricycle driver while his mother had passed away.
Airon Tambua is an 8 year old child diagnosed with Celebral Pasy Spastic Diplgia. He undergoes Physical Therapy thrice a week. He was given assistive and corrective devices to enable him to reach his optimum functional independence in ambulation. His parents are cooperative and supportive in the rehabilitation process. At present, he is studying in a regular school. He has participated in different activities. Airon won first place in the Boccia Tournament held at ULTRA Pasig City last September 2007.
