CAMILLUS MEDHAVEN
FEELS LIKE HOME.
At Camillus MedHaven, the architecture and interior designs break
down
the cold and dark walls of hospitals that would keep residents
lonely and alone to face the final stage of their lives.
In lieu of hospital buildings, Camillus MedHaven features residential
pavilions. Each house or pavilion is designed to be a home for a
minimum of four to a maximum of twenty two elders. It blends architecturally
with neighboring pavilions, includes vibrant outdoor space and utilizes
aesthetically appealing interior features. The result is a house
where each elder has a private living space with a private bathroom.
The elder rooms are fully-air-conditioned and receive high levels
of sunlight. Each pavilion has its own care station and is
situated in close proximity to a central nurse’s station.
While adhering to all codes required by licensure, each residential
pavilion looks and feels like a second home.
Room options range from high-end, middle market and low - end, thus provisions are in place for one-person room, two-person rooms and six-person ward rooms.
Camillus MedHaven also accommodates room sharing for married couples
or siblings. There are also rooms for family members, friends and
associates who may wish to stay overnight or longer while visiting.
The residence also boasts of a full-scale modern kitchen and a
cafeteria. Residents are
served home-cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and supper.
Other dining services include the administration of special diets, tray service and guest meals.
While daily living assistance include daily bathing, toilet assistance,
feeding and dressing
assistance. Camillus MedHaven also provides for regular exercise,
